Have you heard of a book called "Graceling" by: Kristin Cashore?

You should definitely try to read Graceling again. I know what you mean by the beginning being kind of boring, but I promise you that it gets a lot better. Some characters that are interesting are introduced throughout the book makes it very good. Po is a wonderful character and makes the whole book great. So I think you should try one more time to read the book but if you still can't get into it, I guess it's not your kind of book.
