Penpals, UK and US...?

I'd think this was as natural as anything could be. You have dreams - you should have dreams - they are part of growing up and you'd be half-dead if you didn't dream. Of course you're not stupid, you are enjoying the beginnings of love and romance. I'd just say - don't be sure the first boy you get to know is the One and Only. He's a long way away and it probably won't last. Never mind - enjoy it to the full and be happy.
