I Do Graphic design and I am looking for a way to earn some profit for what I do. How should i do this?

I do great graphic design for businesses, people , music artists, logos , etc. But i want to know how can get good profit out of what i do. I Thought about putting up fliers about my business around my community and i thought about advertising on the web also, but does any body have any better ideas ?
