If Phil jackson is so great, then why doesn't Lakers have better defense then Miami?

The lakers do not need to play exceptionally good defense as we all can see from their record. They mix everything together and thats what makes them so dangerous as a team and Jackson is not over rated he has 11 more rings than Erick Spoelstra
