Mozilla Firefox icons?

So my dad just got a new HP laptop and after downloading his programs, his desktop icons are all the mozilla firefox logo. He has the newest version of mozilla so it could possibly have something to do with that. If anyone knows how to get this fixed so he can have his normal icons back, that would be great :) Thanks!
