Why wont my computer start up beyond the windows logo??PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!?

I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 and this has happened multiple times. Each time it has happened I have had to send it to the "shop" and they repaired it. This probably means your computer has crashed.
